I am a masters candidate in computer science with a specialization in HCI in
Georgia Institute of Technology.
Under Prof. Dr. Gregory Abowd's supervision,
I am involved with ubiquitous computing research, focusing on workflows, problem solving
and creativity. The sites I have surveyed include professional kitchens and biomedical
laboratories. I received my B.S. in Computer Engineering from
Bilkent University in 2005.
I also spent a year in UC Irvine as an exchange student
and a summer in InfoLab at Lancaster University as a
visiting student.
My main focus is ubiquitous computing and human-computer interaction. I believe that our understanding of technology will be incomplete without considering the social implications of technologies we have built. I am also very interested in information architectures and visual representation.
You can have a look at my projects on social computing, collaboration, information visualization and user interfaces. You can find my design-oriented work in my public portfolio on Coroflot. For further details and material, please feel free to contact me.
